Kharkiv Region
The Kharkiv field office assists with STCU activities in the Eastern Region of Ukraine. Kharkiv is the location of a major concentration of large research and development complexes, e.g. the Kharkiv Institute of Physics and Technology, the Single Crystal Institute, and Kharkiv State University. The main fields of expertise are in high energy physics, nuclear engineering, radioelectronics, radio-astronomy and radiation detectors. The office also serves other scientific organizations in Sumy and Donetsk. Mr. Victor Stepanenko manages the Kharkiv field office.
